Give Americans a real choice beyond just left or right. Vote out politics as usual,
on both sides, and vote in people who can put the interests of the country above
party and donors. People who will do the right thing whether the solution is
conservative, progressive, or somewhere in the middle. Not people who serve a party.
People who serve us.
You can't fix what's broken if the system is rigged. Government should work for the people it represents, not for special interests,
lobbyists, or political insiders. Cleaning up government is the first step toward
making Congress work the way it was intended.
If elected, I will follow these standards and fight to make them the law for everyone in Washington.
1
Set term limits
No one should hold power forever.
2
Ban dark money in politics
Voters deserve to know who is funding elections.
3
End stock trading by members of Congress
No one should profit from inside information.
4
Ban lobbyists from fundraising for politicians
Public service should not be tied to special interests.
5
Require a full public review period before votes
No more last-minute bills rushed through.
6
Require a balanced budget process
Spending should be responsible and transparent.
7
Mandate independent redistricting for federal elections
Politicians should not choose their voters.
8
Strengthen and align ethics laws across all branches of government
No one should be above the law.
9
Enforce equal application of the law for elected officials
Members of Congress should live under the same laws they pass.
10
Explain every vote to the public
Every major vote should come with a clear, plain-language explanation.
What Is The Clean Government Pledge?
The Clean Government Pledge is a binding, public commitment to ten standards for anyone who wants to represent the people. It is not a wish list. It is a promise.
I signed The Clean Government Pledge on the day I announced my candidacy. It is my commitment to the people of District 5 and to every American who believes our government should work for us. Any candidate running for any office, in any party, in any state can sign The Clean Government Pledge. There are no partisan requirements and no fine print. If a candidate won't sign it, voters should ask them why.
You can't fix problems if no one is willing to work together. It's not about moving left or right. It's about moving forward and getting Congress
working again.
Why This Matters
When members of Congress follow the party line instead of their constituents, nothing gets done. Bills stall. Compromises collapse. The people who sent them to Washington are left waiting for solutions that never come.
The Problem with Partisan Politics
This system doesn't just polarize Congress, it encourages the rest of the country to be polarized too. We've been taught to see our neighbors as enemies based on which party they support. That's not who we are. Most Americans agree on far more than they disagree on, but the current system profits from keeping us apart.
A Different Approach
As an independent representative, I will be free to work with anyone - Republicans, Democrats, and other independents - to get results.
No party loyalty tests. No marching orders from leadership. Just honest work on behalf of the people I serve.
